On the kings's day (Los Reyes), we had our roscon, a cake made in the shape of a ring, into which is put a small statue of a king and a bean. Rosie found the bean, and decided to plant it in the garden. Six months later, and her plant has produced its first harvest of two beanpods. Her is rosie with her pod and one of the beans found within. Perhaps it is fortunate that they do not hide coconuts in the roscon! Actually, maybe they do in the cakes from El Corte Ingles (ours came from Super BM economy supermarket

).
